Leadership Team

James

I have been part of TBC since 2006, having lived in Thrapston most of my life. I was baptised and received into church membership in 2008. I’ve been an active part of the church for many years now, principally as part of the worship band.

The Lord led me to stand for leadership in June 2021 as we all emerged from lockdown. I am passionate about seeing our church body grow in their faith, being firmly rooted in God’s word and living this out in the town of Thrapston and beyond.

Andrew

I am a relative newcomer to Baptists Life, having been brought up in the evangelical Anglican Church. However, I am now a fully functional Baptist and became a full member of TBC in 2020.

I was elected to the leadership team with James in 2021, with a desire to serve in the church in order for it to survive and with God's grace grow.

I am currently studying with Spurgeon's college with a view to qualifying as a lay pastor in 2025.

Vicky

I was asked to join the leadership team in 2022. I have been a congregation member of TBC since 2018, moving to full membership in 2020. I have worshipped in mainly Anglican churches in the past but feel excited about God's work at TBC.

In the daytime, I am a teacher and spend my days controlling 5 year olds. I live with my Poodle Pepe and much of my life is taken up organising Andrew.

I have a pastoral heart, both looking after the leadership team and hopefully the needs of the congregartion.

Paul

I have been a full member of TBC for some years now. I joined the leadership team in 2022 with Vicky. I have heart for God and Biblical peaching.

I am also a teacher by day, attempting to spread knowledge of science to teenagers.

I am married to Virginie and have an active and sometimes demanding son Pierre.

I also love all things practical and have my long term project of restoring a mini.
